Departing from London Gatwick to Luxembourg and Turin (direct), the first flight will take off on the 29th October 2012.
Anyone who visits the site will be greeted with the design, which depicts Carter discovering the inside of the tomb. Carter discovered the tomb, full of “wonderful things” in 1922, he shot to fame and Egyptmania was unleashed - as the tomb was the best preserved that had ever been found. Today Google marked the 138th birthday of Howard Carter, the archaeologist who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, by creating a Google Doodle inspired by the event.
